- The Faculty of Pharmacy
- The Faculty of Preventive Medicine
- The Faculty of Foreign Students
- The Faculty of General Medicine
- The Faculty of Pediatrics
- The Faculty of Dentistry
The six faculties of the university train approximately 6000 students a year.
There is an extensive post graduate program as well as a retraining program for medical personnel.
The Institute of Pre-University Training and the Institute of Postgraduate
Training provide continuous professional development of ASMU students and postgraduates. are more than 6000 students studying at ASMU. Most of the students are from Russian Federation. At present, nearly 1000 international students from 19 countries study here at Altai State Medical University. Out of them, 600 are from India only.
Students and specialists from 19 countries study at ASMU this year. They are: India, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and others). ASMU has its Association of Foreign Students.
